In December 2016, The Italian Mammal Society signed an agreement with ISPRA to provide support towards the
1143/2014 EU Regulation regarding invasive exotic mammal species present in Italy.
The agreement involves updating the national database of alien species and giving support in developing information and management regarding invasive exotic species of relevance to the EU together with defining procedures of risk analysis, early identification and rapid response.
The project ended on the 31st of December 2017 and was coordinated by ATIt members Andrea Monaco, Dario Capizzi, Sandro Bertolino and Adriano Martinoli.
